ADVICE NEEDED- Finally hit the point where a decision must be made

 Good morning!

Today I received the correspondence from work asking me to decide and inform them of my decision:


Do I return to work or not?

Date for this return would be 12/28/2020

My HR person has been truly awesome.  Unlike some of the other staff and personnel I have encountered, she has really done her job well and been neutral. She reached out yesterday and offered me that I could come back or I could resign with the potential for rehire at another location.  I responded to let her know that the confidence that they have in me to rehire me if I were unable to return, really told me everything I needed to know about how they see my work.

I should not doubt myself...but my boss was abusive, so it's hard not to!

Anyway, back to the real issue...Stay home or go back to work?

I have decided that I need to see the plan written out on paper in order to decide, so that will be my next step.  I will not have much time to decide on these things, so I must move on it quickly!  I have to give myself a space/time to work on this analysis. It is the ONLY way I will be able to make a heart-centered decision!  For me, this will involve a sort of 6 month projection and financial outlook analysis, some meditation and some hard reflections on what the family needs and how I factor into that...and whether or not I am needed daily- if someone or some other system might be able to replace the need of me...or if it may be best that I work but work a 2nd shift or part-time or weekends schedule.

LOTS to think over and consider.  I mean, one does not just step out the door and find the perfect work conditions that meet all of the requirements!  I have tried to find part-time or weekend work that satisfied the needs (Financial and schedule-wise).

More Changes, More Flexing. When will I get relief?

  I know I am not alone struggling with the ever-changing climate of the schools these days, but it sure does feel that way sometimes.  It's hard to keep in mind that what matters most is that I maintain confidence in what I KNOW and what I AM DOING.  However, this takes a lot of concentration on my part because I am very foggy most days- I attribute this partially to CFS and partially to my Depression.  It is only a stumbling block and not completely disabling...so I have learned to work with it.  Currently I am using some herbal remedies along with being VERY DISCIPLINED about the exact times I use my meds.  I have also made some BIG modifications to my diet and I am seeing major results from these few shifts which have been going on for about 7 days now. A good ADD-ay!

  The first day back to school after Winter-Break and also after a VERY extended absence from school...was a success!  I am extremely pleased about how it went so I thought I would write a quick review of what that "success" looks like.  Those of you who are in close contact with an ADDer, I am sure you will agree that we must celebrate the successes and recognize them.  They do not look the same as Neuro-typical success. Success with ADD looks like this: 1.     Getting out of bed in less than 3 prompts or with minimal argument 2.     Participation (yes, that's right...participation counts).
